Memorable hikes
Whether on foot, on horseback or by bike, every hike in Costa Rica guarantees to discover breathtaking natural wonders. More or less easy trails lead to lookouts, waterfalls, caves, immaculate beaches and many other surprises.

Above the clouds
A true trademark of adventure tourism, Costa Rica's zip lines (or canopies) are world-famous. Hanging on to the tallest trees in tropical forests, the descent of these cables, which reach several hundred metres in length, makes it possible to discover the country's ecosystems in an atypical way and with minimal impact.

Water sports...
Thanks to the high temperatures, water sports are a real pleasure in Costa Rica. With over 1,200 kilometers of coastline, surfing is obviously one of the most popular sports throughout the country. Those who don't want to try it themselves can watch the more experienced surfers in action. While kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding allow you to explore the aquatic ecosystems at a leisurely pace, whitewater rafting and kitesurfing guarantee thrills and spills.

... or sports in the water!
Go scuba diving to explore the coral reefs and exceptional marine life of Isla del Caño, or set off on an unforgettable expedition off the coast of Isla del Coco, a UNESCO-listed marine reserve famous for its hammerhead sharks. Go snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean or enjoy a getaway to Isla Tortuga to swim alongside tropical fish in a turquoise lagoon. Finally, combining abseiling down spectacular waterfalls, swimming in natural pools, and crossing rivers surrounded by lush vegetation, canyoning is a thrilling experience for the most adventurous.
