Disconnection at the Puntarenas

The Monteverde cloud forest
The Monteverde Cloud Forest is one of the last forests of its kind in the world. Home to 2.5% of the world's biodiversity, of which nearly 10% is a flora endemic to the region, this forest is the scene of numerous scientific studies.
